How to install — 3 simple steps

Step 1

Unscrew the old battery

On the side of the V11 main body (SV14 chassis), locate the 2 screws holding the battery in place. Remove them with a small Phillips screwdriver, then slide the old Dyson battery off.

Step 2

Attach the ELO battery

Line up the new ELO battery against the side of the V11, slide it forward until flush, then reinstall both screws. Snug but not overtightened.

Step 3

Charge and go

Plug in your original Dyson V11 charger or seat the V11 in your wall dock. Full charge in about 4.5 hours.

Will installing this void my Dyson warranty?

If your Dyson V11 SV14 is still under its original warranty, replace through Dyson — fitting an aftermarket battery voids Dyson's warranty. On a single charge: 95 min in Eco (vs. Dyson's 60), 56 min in Auto/Mid (vs. Dyson's 30-40), and 16 min in MAX/Boost (vs. Dyson's 5-15 min). Particularly noticeable in MAX — pet hair on carpet without watching the gauge drop.

Will it work with my original Dyson V11 SV14 charger and dock?

Does this fit the V11 click-in models or the V15?

This is the V11 screw-in battery (Dyson part 970145-06) for SV14 chassis only — V11 Animal, Absolute, Pro, and Torque Drive variants that mount via screws. It does NOT fit the V11 click-in models (SV15/16/22) or the V15 — those use a tool-free click-in housing (we sell click-in versions separately).
