How to install — 3 simple steps

Step 1

Press the release button

On the underside of the V11 main body, find the red battery release button and press it down firmly.

Step 2

Slide off the old battery

With the button held, the old Dyson battery slides off the back. No tools needed.

Step 3

Click in the new ELO battery

Line up the ELO battery against the rear of the V11, slide it forward until you hear it click into place. Drop into your existing Dyson dock — full charge in about 4.5 hours.

If your Dyson V11 is still under its original warranty, replace through Dyson — fitting an aftermarket battery voids Dyson's warranty. Does this fit the V11 SV14 (screw-in) or the older Outsize?

This is the click-in V11 battery (Dyson part 970425-01). It fits V11 Animal, Absolute, Outsize, Torque Drive, Total Clean, V15 Detect, and SV15/SV16/SV22 chassis. It does NOT fit the V11 screw-in SV14 — that uses a different battery housing with mounting screws (we sell the screw-in version separately).
