It charged without issue using the original charger, and to my surprise, it arrived with a partial charge, enough for a quick first test run. In use, the vacuum immediately felt restored. It ran just as it did when I first bought it -strong suction, consistent runtime, and no unexpected cutoffs. I vacuumed the entire downstairs level in Eco mode without dipping below half battery, which mirrors the performance I was used to with the original. The included filters were also a nice bonus. They fit snugly without any leaks or strange noises, and now I can wash one while using the other, which makes maintenance far less annoying. The only minor gripe I encountered was with the fit on the charging stand. The battery body is a touch wider than Dyson’s, which means it doesn't slide into the dock as effortlessly. I had to give it a slight push to get a solid connection, which isn’t a dealbreaker, but definitely noticeable. Also, unlike the original, this battery doesn’t show a charging status via LED indicators, so I have to check manually if it’s done. Again, not a huge issue, but something to be aware of. After nearly two weeks of daily use, I can confidently say this replacement battery performs on par with the OEM version. It saved me money, brought my vacuum back to full function, and has held up through multiple charge cycles without heating up or cutting out. While the fit on the charger isn’t perfect and the LEDs are absent, those tradeoffs feel minor compared to the value and reliability this battery provides. The battery is dead, it won't charge using the Dyson charger or turn on when inserted into the vacuum. Essentially useless.UPDATE: Customer service reached out to me and sent me a replacement battery, the replacement works as expected and charges correctly, no issues using it with the V11. Support was more proactive than the Dyson support was, they offered to send a replacement battery right away whereas with Dyson they wouldn't acknowledge my battery issue and wouldn't replace the unit.

Failed after 3 months but the support and warranty lives up to expectations. I think it was a rare outlier having a bad cell inside the battery, but we were impressed with the quick replacement. You will not be disappointed if you purchase. The stay on feature is great. Thank you for your help!

The original battery for my Dyson that I had less than a year stopped recharging. I love my Dyson vacuum, but Dyson's customer service couldn't be worse. So, I bought this battery as a replacement. It works great and holds a charge longer than the original did.

Packaging was very adequate. It did come with good instructions and maintenance information. It's recommended to charge fully first and run it out 5 times for charging. I vacuumed the upper, lower levels plus stairs in my house and it still has a charge. Dyson provides a 3600 battery, this one is a 5000 extended run. I believe with Samsung cells, the longevity will be good. When the vacuum came to a quick halt, we were going to buy a new one. Purchasing this replacement saved us a lot of money.

I knew my battery had gotten weak, but I didn’t know it was this week. Now I can vacuum my whole upstairs and half the basement. OK yes I love this battery.

I put off buying another battery until it went on sale. The fits perfectly with my Dyson v15 detect absolute. It doesn’t really last 95 minutes when I use the carpet head attachment. I use 2 batteries for my 3000 sq ft house with mostly hardwood floors and area rugs.
